We offer lessons in piano, guitar, bass guitar, saxophone, singing, violin, cello, flute, and drums.
Lessons are typically 30, 45 or 60 minutes in length. You may attend once or twice per week, depending on your schedule and learning objectives. In line with international teaching methods, we recommend two lessons per week for optimal progress.
Yes, certainly. We offer trial lessons for all instruments so that you can meet your prospective teacher, experience our approach, and ensure that the environment suits you before making any commitment.
Absolutely. We warmly welcome complete beginners as well as more experienced musicians. All lessons are tailored to your current level and pace, ensuring you feel supported and make steady progress from the very first session.
Yes — in fact, the vast majority of our students are adults. Whether you are starting from scratch, returning after many years, or refining advanced skills, it is never too late to begin or continue your musical journey with expert guidance.
Yes, we routinely prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity, Rockschool and other recognised examination boards. Yes. We usually recommend a teacher based on your musical goals, experience and availability, but you are very welcome to express a preference or request a specific instructor. If you ever feel that another teacher may be a better fit, we can assist you with a smooth transition.
Lessons take place at our beautiful Fitzrovia Music Studios, located at 60–62 Great Titchfield Street, Fitzrovia, W1W 7QF. To ensure a calm and focused learning environment, visits are strictly by appointment only.
Yes, we provide high-quality online tuition via Zoom. This is ideal if you travel frequently, live outside London, or simply prefer to learn from the comfort of your own home while receiving the same professional instruction.
Yes. It is common for students to begin with one instrument and later decide to switch or add another as their interests evolve. For example, many start on piano or guitar and then move on to singing, drums, violin, cello, saxophone, or even study multiple instruments in parallel.
We fully support such transitions and can guide you in timing and planning the change so that your musical development remains steady and enjoyable.
Yes — we continue teaching throughout the entire year, including school and public holidays. Our programmes are built on an aggregate of four lessons per calendar month, giving you consistent tuition regardless of the season.
If you are travelling or have irregular availability during holidays, lessons can be arranged around your schedule or taken online so that your progress is not interrupted.
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a lesson. An alternative time can only be offered if the required notice has been given. Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged in full, unless there is a genuine emergency.
Having your own instrument is certainly beneficial, as it allows you to practise between lessons and progress more steadily. However, you are welcome to begin without one — many students start this way while getting a feel for the instrument.
Once you are ready, we will gladly advise you on whether to buy or rent, and help you choose an instrument that suits your level, budget and long-term goals.
For beginners, we generally recommend 20–30 minutes of focused practice, 4–5 days per week. Short, regular sessions are far more effective than occasional long ones — consistency builds muscle memory, coordination and confidence.
As you progress and your pieces become more demanding, you may naturally increase your practice time. Your teacher will provide clear guidance on what to work on between lessons to ensure steady and meaningful progress.
Absolutely. A large number of our students learn purely for pleasure — to unwind, to explore a hobby, or to add music to their daily life without the pressure of exams or performances.
Your lessons can be entirely enjoyment-focused, centred on pieces and styles you love, while still giving you proper technique and musical understanding along the way.
Yes — we offer small and friendly group classes for piano, guitar and singing in addition to one-to-one tuition. These are ideal if you enjoy learning in a social environment or want a more collaborative experience.
Groups are arranged by approximate level to ensure a comfortable pace and a positive atmosphere for all participants.
We can accommodate children from as young as 3 years old. For very young beginners, lessons are typically kept to around 20 minutes to suit their attention span and ensure a positive first experience with music.
From around 5 years of age onwards, children usually transition into our standard lesson formats. We will gladly advise on the most suitable structure based on your child’s age, focus and readiness.
