Vira is a Ukrainian violinist hailing from Ivano-Frankivsk, born on February 27, 1988. She discovered her passion for the violin at the young age of 7 and made her debut with the Chamber Orchestra of Ivano-Frankivsk Philharmony at the age of 9.
Throughout her education at the musical school, Vira garnered recognition by winning several national competitions, including the prestigious "Spring Rhapsody" in Kyiv in 1999. In 2003, she enrolled in the Musical College of Ivano-Frankivsk, where she delved into a diverse repertoire of solo and chamber music. Notable performances during this period included captivating renditions of Khachaturian's Violin Concerto, Mendelssohn's E minor Violin Concerto, Paganini's Violin Concerto No. 2, and Saint-Saëns' Rondo Capriccioso alongside symphony orchestras.
Upon graduating from the Musical College, Vira pursued further studies at the National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kyiv, under the guidance of Professor B. Kotorovich. During this phase, she seized opportunities to attend numerous masterclasses both in Ukraine and abroad, studying with acclaimed musicians such as Olga Parkhomenko, Adam Kostecki, Kamilla Schatz, Lily Dorfmann, and Zakhar Bron. Additionally, she spent a year refining her skills at the École Normale de Paris Alfred Cortot, studying with Professor Antoine Goulard.
Since 2013, Vira has actively participated in numerous concerts across Ukraine, showcasing her exceptional talent through captivating solo performances and collaborations in chamber music. Her musical journey has also taken her to countries such as Poland, Germany, France, the United States, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Spain.
In addition to her accomplishments as a violinist, Vira is currently an esteemed member of the LMT Music Academy, where she contributes her expertise and passion for music, imparting valuable knowledge to aspiring musicians.
